I was a bit surprised by the amount of positive feedback I received after publishing my harsh critique of the notch on MacBooks. Many readers were in agreement with me; a few pointed out things that I felt deserved a public response and follow-up.
Just as the notch seems to be receding on the upcoming iPhone 14 series, it keeps on appearing on MacBooks. It's a sore sight. It's bad design. It's a deal breaker for me, and I'll never shut up about it.
Stage Manager only available on M1-equipped iPads. People find this puzzling. Apple executives do some PR damage control. I find it to be dissatisfying as usual.
I don't really have a ‘WWDC wishlist’. The course correction I'd love from Apple is simply too critical to happen.
After more than 20 years, the time has come to retire the iPod. But I still think there's some place for it even today.
