Managing files — so what?
In his review of the iPod nano, Nilay Patel basically states that today managing files locally, through a wired connection between the device and the computer, "feels clunky and archaic". For me it's not that big a deal.

Let me rant about iOS 6 Maps a little
iOS 6 Maps is a far worse application than the previous, Google-based Maps. It's a serious issue that mustn't be downplayed. People don't care about silly wars among multi-billion companies, they want their devices to work.
Siding with the new ‘timid’ iPod nano
Perhaps the new iPod nano is a weak, timid product, one of the last ramparts of a dying market, and it might look less cool than the model it replaces, but at least it's an improvement in usability.
