Steven Frank and John Gruber have both removed Flash from their Macs, and they both reported enjoying a better experience. So I decided to follow their steps...
To reinstall Aperture 2 under Snow Leopard from scratch you'll need a copy of the full Aperture 2.1.4, or at least of the trial version, but it has to be the full package, not just the update. And you won't find it on Apple's Website, now that Aperture 3 is available. But you can find it here.
The new MacBook Air models do not have a separate Power key on the top case like all the other MacBook/MacBook Pros. Due to space constraints, the Power key is now part of the keyboard, and takes the upper right position, previously reserved to the Eject key.
