On July 20, Apple introduced Mac OS X Lion but also refreshed the MacBook Air and Mac mini lines, as well as presenting the new 27-inch Apple Thunderbolt Display. I believe that this new hardware is as important and significant as the new version of Mac OS X.

During the last month, I've been experiencing a progressive lack of energy towards writing about technology subjects. Not that there's some shortage of topics to talk about. Quite the opposite, in fact. That's the problem, in a sense.
Come to think of it, the main factor that led to my bookmark bankruptcy is the 'Read It Later' routine: a lot of stuff I've bookmarked over the years was filed away for the purpose of reading it later.
The suspicion of planned obsolescence is strong, but for now I've decided to reserve my judgment on the matter and just avoid buying a LaCie branded product from now on.
